Benjamin Gebol Gómez (Chachapoyas, Peru, September 27), known as Si Gung Gebol[1] or Shīfu Gebol[2], is a master of Chinese martial arts (Sixth Thuan Degree), a Lawyer, and a Graduate in International Relations.
Shīfu Gebol is an international figure of the martial arts, known for being an outstanding example of kung fu and taijiquan that allowed him to be a national and international champion.
In his career as a sportsman of senior category, he has participated in more than a dozen of  international championships of wushu and tai chi chuan representing his country, and starred in countless exhibitions of martial arts worldwide that were acclaimed by critics who highlighted his mastery of the discipline,  which helped  him to win several international awards and two of them in the Republic of Peru granted by the Peruvian Sports Institute(IPD) through the Peruvian Federation of Wushu Kung Fu, the official body of the Peruvian State (Salon of the Americas, National stadium. Lima, September 21, 2006).
BIOGRAPHY
Gebol Benjamin Gomez was born in a family  linked closely to  Amazonian traditional customs. His family is from  Chontapampa, town of the Province of Chachapoyas, which is known for being the birthplace of traditional fighters. (Chontapampa[3] is an area full of customs and traditions that have lasted since mid-1800).
He attended the local school in Lima and Chachapoyas. At a very young age, when he was at school Gebol discovered his qualities for martial arts, receiving suggestions from relatives and instructors that were useful to be involved in  martial arts. After that,  he learned art, philosophy and kung fu at the Shagou Institute Zheng, and got the rank of Sifu in 1994; then in 2004, the Peruvian Federation of Wushu Kung Fu awarded him the Degree of Si Gung, a respectable category in the Shaolin culture. Later, he studied two careers for nine years. Then, he got his professional degree of Lawyer (July, 2015) at the Faculty of Law of the University of Palermo and he is Graduate in International Relations at the Faculty of Social Sciences of the Palermo University (February, 2016).
Internationally renowned personality
It was his first participation as a professional competitor in Peru which gave him national and international notoriety in the National Wushu Championship of 1990, official event of the Peruvian Federation of Kung fu where Sifu Gebol won the gold medal in all  the styles of  Nan Quan, Chang Quan and Tai Chi Chuan, and he also won an  international championship in 1991.
In the last fifteen years, he has made significant progress in spreading the benefits of Shaolin Kung fu and managing to establish permanent contacts with followers and experts of martial arts around the world.
He  made retirements of  Compassion and awakened  in the  Mahayana Buddhism  having visited several monastic centers in East Asia, receiving the teachings of the Dharma by  His Holiness the Ven. Lama Kunga Rinpoche . Today, Sifu Gebol mantain  close ties with the Mahayana; great path of Buddhism and  the venerable  P. Khenpo Tenzin is  his root Lama.
Sifu Gebol teaches  in  the "School Tzu Chang Quan Shaolin" Since 1996  in Buenos Aires Argentina. In the period 2005-6, he was a Professor of wushu and taijiquan in the Academy of the Peruvian Federation of Wushu Kung Fu, and he  is currently Director of the InternationalTiantan Association.
From his position in the ITA, he is commited to sports  development and continues  working  for the progress of martial arts. He claimed  that  it is neccesary to build a fair society where the essential values ​​of the people be practiced  in the historical process , and praises the work of the Chinese Wushu Association, the International WushuFederation, including the United Nations.
